PERRINE TAVERNITI

Having grown up in a large family of designers, Perrine Taverniti launched her eponymous jewelry brand. Entirely designed by hand, her jewels are strong pieces, as trendy as they are luxurious: indeed, the Perrine Taverniti creations are made of brass gilded with fine 24-carat gold and adorned with pearls. Drawing inspiration from art and design, the designer offers unique pieces.
Les Belles Rencontres met Perrine for an open discussion during which the designer shared her creations, her life as a business executive and the experience of her showroom during FashionWeek.
JULIETTE
Perrine, you introduced your FW23 collection during the Paris Fashion Week. How did the exhibition happen? What is your evaluation of this Fashion Week?
PERRINE
It was a great presentation with a lot of new releases, especially the pearl as the strength of the collection. For the buyers it was a big surprise! I had very good positive feedback and nice words from them. I think that the force of display with the stockman dressed in jeans and covered with brooches, pins… will have had an impact. People remember it!
JULIETTE
Personally, I loved your collection. Can you tell me about the new releases and in particular this beautiful story of pearls and chains?
PERRINE
The strength of my collections is to play, assemble and mix the chains. This season I wanted to bring rows of pearls, but differently from the classic pearl necklace. My vintage inspirations show the pearls, which add another dimension to the jewelry. I wanted to modernize the row of pearls by twisting it around a link or by integrating it into the mesh and the rings. The pearl necklace adds novelty to my chains (like the necklace Monceau), and the basic pearl necklace is twisted by the metal.
JULIETTE
What are the plans for the future of your brand?
PERRINE
I am going to take part in a meeting event with a designer in Perpignan, at my Maison Caldeira retailer. Also to come other exciting projects, including collabs with other brands, but it is still confidential to date.
JULIETTE
Can you tell us how to follow your news, and especially where we can discover your collections?
PERRINE
Instagram is my greatest communication! And some press thanks to Nicolas Dal Sasso agency.
My retailer partners are also very active and show many looks accessorized with my jewelry. It is always a pleasure to repost them!
My brand is displayed in several retailers in France (Merci, Printemps, Duchatel, Lulli sur la toile), in Japan, soon in Boston… thanks to the wonderful work of my agent Céline Surrel!
